Meet Coach Alexis!!
Coach Alexis a 13 year cheer veteran and both an IHSA & NCA & NDA Champion!!! She had the amazing experience of being a part of the IHSA COED State Championship Team in 2020. She has continued cheering at Lindenwood University where we just got back from the 2023 NCA & NDA College National Championship. #lindenwoodcheer team are proud of all their accomplishments! *2023 NCA & NDA College National Championship Intermediate Small Coed Division II Champions *Placed 3rd Intermediate All Girl Division II *1st Place Advanced Large Coed Division II *3rd Place Large Coed Grand Champion Her amazing drive, enthusiasm, passion to help young athletes succeed, and champion experiences will be infectious to every athlete she works with. Coach Alexis joined TOP Spot because in her words, " I have a passion for tumbling and cheerleading. I have always worked with children and have experience working cheer clinics. I love working with younger children and teaching them new skills!" Coach Alexis is excited to focus on sideline, tumbling, and creating a fun environment! She comes to us with 12 years of experience in tumbling and cheerleading, and coaching young athletes in clinic and camp settings.

Meet Coach Alana!!!
Coach Alana loves sports and believes play is the best way to learn! When she was younger she danced, play softball, and basketball. Coach Alana has worked in education her entire adult career ranging from corporate training, to Director of Student Management for multiple national affiliates, to teaching Special Education. Coach Alana holds a double Masters in Educational Leadership and Special Education, and is a certified Learning Behavior Specialist 1. Coach Alana has taught many grade levels elementary-college & Transition Aged Students; Self-Contained, Therapeutic, English, Life Skills, Community Skills, Social Skills, Vocational Skills, and Education. Coach Alana is also the very proud mom of #milathebrave & #vinnythewarrior. Coach Alana is excited to work with our athletes and families!

Meet Coach Taylor!!!
She is a gymnastics coach and has been surrounded by cheer and gymnastics most of her life!  She was part of the IHSA COED State Championship Team in 2020 and continues to have a passion for gymnastics & cheer.  Her no fear attitude, encouraging coaching methods, and ensuring athletes truly understand how to prepare their bodies to reduce injury will all lead to our young athletes growing in their sport and confidence. She truly understands the word LEADER in Cheerleader! Coach Taylor joined TOP Spot because in her words, " I love working with kids and have worked with kids for 4 years now. I think I could be beneficial to your team in upbringing strong athletes and encouraging leaders." Coach Taylor s is excited to focus on all aspects of tumbling and chair including balance, team work, flexibility, and  more.  Be ready to work hard and have fun with Coach Taylor!

Meet Coach Mia!!!
I was a cheerleader& gymnast for 16 years. I have experience in allstar and rec cheer. I was also a coach for all 4 years of highschool where I fell in love with coaching! I am very excited to be coaching again! My goal as a coach is to be able to help anyone with a love for cheer and tumbling like mine. I am excited to help them meet all their goals as an athlete and watch them grow, it is one of my favorite parts of being a coach. I have a lot of experience working with kids and teens including coaching for clubs, clinics, and flexibility training. I’m so excited to be a part of the Top Spot team (family) and make it a fun, safe, and efficient environment for all of our athletes. In addition to my coaching career, I am also a hair stylist and makeup artist!!! I absolutley love working with people and helping them to achieve their goals.

Meet Coach Taylor!!!
Coach Taylor has 10 years of cheer experience, cheering at Hampshire High School, Ultimate Athletics, and ICE Allstars. She is also an Iowa State University and Northern Illinois University Cheer alum. She has competed at IHSA State, Worlds, and NCA College Nationals. A note from Coach Taylor! I am so excited to be able to continue in the cheer world by coaching athletes. I am excited to work with the kids and teach them all aspects of cheer. From tumbling, to sidelines, to truly understanding what being a cheerLEADER is, I’m looking forward to coaching part of the program!
